Based in South London, Lisa Wilson Scott is an artist that creates small and intimate paintings and prints of place, rather than aiming for an exact representation, layers of rich painterly textures and a strong use of colour subtley build images of well known views to convey a personal interpretation of the character, atmosphere and essence of places visited and seen.



16th - 29th July 2020 - THAMES VIEWS - an exhibition of recent paintings at -

Jeannie Avent Gallery, 14 North Cross Road, Dulwich SE22 9EU.


An exhibition of thirty paintings representing ongoing research and personal responses to the variety of views found along the Thames, from Westminster Bridge to the Thames Flood Barrier in Woolwich.

The paintings celebrate the essence of this vibrant and diverse city using layers of rich colours and textures that are reminiscent of the layers of history to be seen in the views that have been depicted.

The exhibition will be open from midday every day until 5pm. All work is for sale.
